Game Day
Classic games/activities can be turned into literacy games! On this day students are given the choice of participating in classic games with a literary twist. Playing children focus on reading and spelling, the objective is to get students reading with out realizing it!
Slime Clinic
Our slime clinic offers hands-on workshops where children can explore the world of slime-making, learning different techniques and experimenting with various colors and textures. Children read the instructions in order to make the slime.
Literacy Walk
Our Literacy Walks provides students the opportunity to read outside of the traditional educational setting. The purpose of a “Literacy Walk” is to show students that words are everywhere and, in order to efficiently and gainfully navigate the world, one must know how to read.
Read Aloud
Book Distribution
We provide engaging and interactive sessions where we read aloud popular children's books, bringing stories to life and fostering a love for reading. Children always leave the session with a book. Hence, read it and leave it!
Solider Visit
“Soldier Visit” provided students with positive role models in an admirable career field to reinforce the importance of literacy and education. Successful literacy enrichment programs need adults modeling positive behaviors and fostering healthy relationships around reading and education.
MIOSHA RJ, FOUNDER 2020
Read It and Leave It is here to show children that with the right delivery, reading can be entertaining, even better than movies...Movies tell you what to see. With reading, you create your own illustrations
